At Bus-Tech, Inc., employees work hard, but the rewards are very attractive. Below is a quick summary of the extensive benefits program available to full-time employees who meet eligibility:
Medical Insurance - Qualified employees of Bus-Tech may enroll in the company sponsored health plan. The plan includes major medical, prescription drug and dental coverage for employees and their dependents. The plan is a preferred provider plan whereby many services provided by in-network physicians are covered in full while out-of-network services are 80% covered. The plan provides for certain individual and family deductibles, a participant encounter fee per visit and a prescription drug co-payment. Employees enrolled in the plan currently pay a nominal portion of the cost of the plan.
Basic Life - Qualified employees of Bus-Tech, Inc. are eligible for coverage under our group life insurance plan. Life coverage is equivalent to two times your salary with a maximum benefit of $175,000. Dependents are not covered by the group life insurance component.
401 (k) Plan - Bus-Tech, Inc. offers a 401(k) plan which allows a wide variety of funds to invest in. Employees can contribute up to the federally mandated maximums of their pre-tax salary with a company match of 50 percent of the first 6 percent of contributions.
Long-Term Disability - Qualified employees are eligible to participate in the Bus-Tech long-term disability program at no cost to them.
Vacation - Qualified employees receive two weeks paid vacation per calendar year. Additional vacation time accrues with an employee's length of service according to company policy up to a maximum of four weeks per year. First year employees receive vacation time on a pro-rated basis depending on their start date.
Holidays - Full-time Bus-Tech, Inc. employees receive eleven paid holidays per year. Typically eight holidays are specified by the company each year while 3 are floating.
