Secure, reliable, cost-effective data connectivity
Bus-Tech, Inc. products incorporate the advances in open system storage and networking technologies into the mainframe data center. This allows companies to
- concurrent support for multiple storage technologies including data deduplication and compliant (WORM) functionality in addition to NAS and SAN
- modernize data centers without compromising performance, functionality, or security
- reduce mainframe storage costs and datacenter footprint
- satisfy ever-increasing demands for data while staying within IT budgets
- high availability solution with "phone home" capability for proactive support
In addition, advances in data protection in open system technology can be leveraged into the mainframe data center: data encryption with RSA Key Management; electronic data vaulting to an off-site location; and meeting SEC requirements to maintain data in its original form.
Mainframe Data Library
The Mainframe Data Library (MDL) is a modular, scalable family of Virtual Tape Library controllers for IBM compatible and Unisys 2200 mainframes. An MDL solution provides enterprise data centers with lower tape processing costs, improved end-user service levels, innovative disaster recovery alternatives, and the ability to include deduplicating or compliant storage in their mainframe environment.
