Depending on how you intend to use the resultant product, we can meet your needs. Our adapters, in slave mode, can be used to connect products to the channel and create any control unite emulation currently supported by IBM. When used in master mode, they can emulate a mainframe channel and drive mainframe peripheral devices (i.e. printers, tape drives, etc.).
Why Bus-Tech?
The adapters are capable of responding to any of 256 sub-channel addresses. The emulation firmware runs directly on the adapter's on board processor. Because of this design, the CPU of the host is only involved with data block transfers and not running the actual emulation, resulting in minimal interruptions to the PCI-X host system. Which makes our card the fastest, least intrusive mainframe connection available on the market today.
