Software for the Mainframe Appliance for Storage is distributed in a "Base Release" and as "Upgrades" to the Base Release.

The MAS Base Release distribution consists of one or more CDs that contain full disk images of the MAS system disks. Base Release CDs are released infrequently, usually when a significant change has been made to the MAS hardware platform or operating system. If you need replacement or updated Base Release CDs for your MAS, please contact Bus-Tech support. The latest MAS Base Release is version 3.02.

Upgrades consist of various updates, fixes, additions, and other changes to the Base Release. Upgrades can be found on the MAS "Utilities" CDs, which are released more frequently than Base Releases. The latest MAS Upgrade release is version 3.10-03.
