Software for the Mainframe Data Library is distributed in
a "Base Release" and as "Upgrades" to the Base Release.
The MDL Base Release distribution consists of one or more DVDs that
contain a full disk image of the MDL system disk.
Base Release DVDs are released infrequently, usually when a
significant change has been made to the MDL hardware platform
or operating system. If you need replacement or updated Base
Release DVDs for your MDL, please contact Bus-Tech support.
The latest MDL Base Release is version 5.00-10.
Upgrades consist of various updates, fixes, additions, and other
changes to the Base Release. Upgrades can be found on the MAS
"Utilities" CDs, which are released more frequently
than Base Releases. The latest MDL / MAS Upgrade / Utilities
CD is version 5.01-11.
