Software for the zDASD Controller is distributed in a "Base Release"
and as "Upgrades" to the Base Release.
The zDASD Base Release distribution consists of one or more CDs
that contain full disk images of the zDASD system disks. Base Release
CDs are released infrequently, usually when a significant change
has been made to the zDASD hardware platform or operating system.
If you need replacement or updated Base Release CDs for your zDASD
Controller, please contact Bus-Tech support.
Upgrades consist of various updates, fixes, additions, and other
changes to the Base Release. Upgrades can be found on the zDASD
"Utilities" CDs, which are released more frequently than Base Releases.
