pleased to announce that effective June 6, 2011, service enhancements
have been implemented which change the way EMC Bus-Tech customers contact
support, create incidents, and gain access to product resources.
These
enhancements are designed to offer you continued service excellence while
bringing consistency to your support experience across all EMC products in your
environment.
Summary of Changes
-
Access to EMC Powerlink, EMC's online support portal - all new online service requests (i.e., support incidents) should now be opened and managed within Powerlink

Email will no longer be utilized to open service requests {i.e. support Incidents}
-
Documentation has been migrated from Bustech.com to Powerlink
-
Centralized customer support - one global support number for EMC phone support across EMC products (numbers provided below)
-
New support options consistent with those for other EMC products - including Basic, Enhanced, and Premium Support - will be available.
What action do I need to take?
IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED:
If you do not already have a Powerlink account, please register for
one as soon as possible to ensure support access. Go to
Powerlink.emc.com and follow the registration process.
Registration tips:

Register with a corporate email address. EMC cannot accept personal email addresses.

Select "yes" when you see the "Open and Manage Service Requests Online" option. This will allow you to open Service Requests online. After registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from Powerlink.
What is Powerlink?
Powerlink is EMC's online support portal and offers
continuous access to resources such as documentation and sophisticated online
service request creation and management. The following resources provide
additional information about Powerlink and this transition.
